VELVET is going all out for The House of Rebirth and hosting an opportunity for creatives and community to come together for a cause! All proceeds benefit The House of Rebirth - A Black Trans Led Housing and Community Space!
VELVET is a summer series and an afro-futuristic experience of the New Harlem Renaissance right here in Dallas.

This isn't your typical showcase this is a finely curated exhibition of poets, visual artists, jazz musicians, comedians, dancers, live painting and more! We encourage artists to mix mediums, embrace spontaneity and CREATE live for your viewing pleasures. •

Come and learn about personal and communal safety and security techniques! There will be group instruction and situation specific breakout sessions. Get equipped to resist and restore ourselves against violence in our community.

Self Defense Goodies will be given away on a first come first served basis!

Let's have tea, shall we? The Kiki - A QTPOC Conversation Series is proud to present MUVA a chat hosted by Pocahontas Duvall with Black & Brown trans women in Dallas. Sip fresh tea and crumpets by Revolution Cafe and bring your questions or just come to listen to our sisters share stories, laughs and spill piping hot tea!
